The Beginning

Ahh fashion. Its everywhere you go. I love fashion. "Fashion" means clothing generally, and the study of it. I have been wanting to get in this amazing business for about 2-3 years now. I started to watch "Laguna Beach" on MTV with Lauren Conrad. Then when I found out she was in another t.v. show called "The Hills", so I started to watch it because I loved Lauren on Laguna Beach. I fell in love with the t.v. show. After watching her working at Teen Vogue and Peoples Resolution with the Fashion Business, I knew thats what I wanted to do. I know that t.v. shows don't exactly show a whole lot or show what really goes on during the show, maybe, especially MTV but I still love the business. I was a Junior in High school when I finally decided that fashion was my dream. I also loved photography and I had a hard time deciding which one to do. I was only a junior and still had a while to decide. Finally, senior year came. I signed up for two Fashion classes. and let me tell you,. The best class I had that year. It was so much fun. I learned so much. It made me even more excited and sure that fashion is what I want to do in my life. I really don't have any experience with it. I've had classes and thats pretty much it. I live in Utah. And Utah doesn't have a lot of "fashion" things I guess you could say. Its not like L.A. or New York when you go there you see it everywhere. So if I really want to do this for my career, I need to go to a school to learn more about it outside of Utah. I want to go to The Arts Institute of Orange County. Utah has The Arts Institute but they don't have the Fashion part of it, like I said, Utah doesn't have a lot of Fashion things.
